'Black and white' is the new black, and we tell you where to find it
Trending now is black and white, so here are 10 of my favourite finds for you all to enjoy.
I have one of these gorgeous Spotty Time scarfs from Seafolly. Mine is indigo, but it also comes in black and my daughters and I have both been wearing it and loving it! Seafolly have quite a range of clothing online including some hot black and white pieces – they are not limited to swim and beachwear. See their winter range now www.seafolly.com.au
I love this white stone necklace from Colette Hayman – it is quite the statement piece. Team this with anything black in your wardrobe and it will look great. There are some matching pieces and clutches available to finish the look. Choose your set at www.colettehayman.com.au
I have loved these Moroccan Ottomans for a long time but since I already own a gorgeous magenta one I can’t justify a black and white one as well – but how great is this? This one can be yours from www.hardtofind.com.au
This suede plaited wrap bracelet from Charli Bird is simply stunning. It wraps around your wrist three times and has a shiny silver magnetic clasp – best of all, at $29.95 it is an absolute bargain. Match it with the white jade Barcelona bracelet and you have the perfect black and white combo. Charli Bird also has a gorgeous range of children’s jewellery, scarves and throws, including a gorgeous grey rug with birds on it. Grab this and a whole heap of treats from www.charlibird.com.au
This outdoor/indoor mat from Kith & Co at Down That Little Lane is perfect! It is made from recycled polypropylene products like plastic bags and straws and any spills can just be hosed off. They are reversible, durable, light to move and best of all soft under foot! Great for inside or try it outside on the deck or around the pool. They come in a great range of colours but I love this classic black and white diamond pattern. Kith & Co also stock a large range of the beautiful Kantha quilts from India (they are not black and white but I had to mention them). They are some of my favourite quilts and I hope to one day choose my own in India!
A stunning black and white artwork by Almond Tree Designs at Down That Little Lane would stand out in anyone’s home. Cut from gorgeous black and white papers with one unique coloured deer they come framed and are slightly raised to create a silhouette. You will also find birds and teacups cut from black and white papers.
The Isla Kaftan from Firefly comes in seven colours including black (pictured) and white with navy, pink or silver embroidery. So many choices! This could go from beach to shopping to dinner no problems at all. At Firefly you will find a large range of black and white dresses as well as beach and resort wear. Shop at www.fireflyonline.com.au
The porcelain eco travel mug from Ioco is perfect for cups of tea or coffee to keep you warm through winter. It has a silicon sleeve to make handling easy and comes in a range of colours and patterns, but this black and white damask print is both beautiful and classic. Choose yours at www.hardtofind.com.au
This Mongolian Sheep’s Wool cushion feels amazing; I bought mine from The House Queen which stocks an amazing range of decor for every room in your home. (There were cheaper to be found but The House Queen was the only online store that had the colour I wanted!) You can browse quilts and covers, cushions and throws, table cloths and matching accessories and nursery items to name just a few. Browse for your home at www.thehousequeen.com.au
