Free 12-week wellness challenge to get you looking and feeling amazing

Get excited everyone - the One Life Live Well Challenge is on now! (It's running throughout Sep-Nov 2013 so if you want to join any time during those months for a shorter challenge, you're very welcome.)

It's designed to get you fit, healthy, happy and glowing for summer: you'll be asked to complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks to improve your fitness, diet, wellbeing, and health.

By the end, you will look and feel amazing!

It is far too easy to let ourselves go during the colder months as we seek comfort and warmth in eating too much food, and preferring to stay comfortable on the couch rather than exercising. We struggle with less motivation to do good things for ourselves, which leaves us feeling fat, sluggish and out of shape by the time spring comes around.  

I have designed the Live Well Challenge specifically to inspire and motivate you as we head towards summer, and to give you the tools to become fit, lean, healthy and strong throughout these warmer months.

The program encourages you to commit to improving your fitness and health throughout the 12 weeks of spring (and beyond). What you learn along the way will provide a solid foundation of health on which you can continue to build for life! It’s about learning new skills, forming positive new habits and practices, and expanding your knowledge of how to live well.

You will receive:

  • Comprehensive resources that contain your daily, weekly and monthly tasks
  • Various articles to support why I have made these suggestions
  • Wholesome recipes
  • A diary/planner to tick off your tasks as they are completed.

I will also ask you to stay in touch with me and other participants through the One Life Facebook page and log your completed tasks for all to see, as well as share your experiences, ideas, strengths and motivations for extra support.

All this is free of charge to Mining Family Matters readers!

So what exactly will you be doing? Here are some examples:

  • Wellbeing: have lights out by 10.30pm at least five out of seven nights.
  • Nutrition: try one new raw food lunch or dinner recipe every week for the duration of the challenge.
  • Fitness: perform a minimum of 20 minutes of structured exercise every day of the challenge.
  • Health: have a skin check with a skin specialist or skin cancer clinic.

By the end of spring you will have attained a complete health makeover.
